With the promise that God’s word would always accomplish His purpose, four friends began a business of hand painted ceramics that combined irresistible designs with scripture. Our favorite pieces use scripture to complement either the design or function. Thirteen years later The Mustard Seed, by necessity, remains small in order to create unique pieces that encourage and inspire.

By nature hand painted ceramics is an art individualized by every kiln firing and every stroke of the artist’s brush. Small variations and minor irregularities contribute to the beauty of a handmade piece.

Our pieces are food and microwave safe. Although they are dishwasher safe, we recommend hand washing. Please remember that ceramics do chip easily, so handle them with care.
